#8655: Company Documents - Escalate to Committee ButtonΒΆ

With the Aged Care Quality Standards it became apparent that clients need the ability to escalate policies and procedures to meetings for approval and to 'close the loop' in the approval process. You can now enable the 'Escalate to Committee' button on your Company Document Details page. As with other modules, this is done by selecting which meeting groups can have documents sent to them.

Committees > Select Committee > Committee Details tab - tick the "Is shown in Company Documents" checkbox and save. Repeat this for all meeting groups you wish to allow escalation to.

Now you will have the Escalate Committee button on your Document Details page for all documents.

Selecting this button will present the popup box you are familiar with, however there is a feature that is specific to escalating documents. As the image below highlights, you need to select which document version (Revision) you wish to escalate, eg. Awaiting Approval, Approved.

Once you select the version for escalation, your Committee names will be presented for selection. Select all that apply and save to have this document escalated accordingly.
